City of Anxiety

The series of 11 screenprints refers to a specific type of anxiety that overwhelms you when you realise how the historical backgrounds, violent events and demonstrations of power related to misogyny are engraved in the urban space and thus are forming our present, accompanying our everyday lives.
Each artwork is associated with a sensation which constitutes this feeling of anxiety:
Heaviness.
